Got this recipe from Woodford Reserve. We couldn't believe that a distillery that makes and ages as good of a whiskey as they do would then soak it in grapefruit. But it is delicious! The grapefruit actually enhances the flavor of the bourbon. It is definitely worth the effort to make this.
Grapefruit Old Fashioned

½ oz. fresh-squeezed grapefruit juice

Shake on ice.
Strain over big cube into a rocks glass.
Garnish with maraschino cherry and a grapefruit peel.
