Hot Toddy Mix

We found the recipe for this mix in an old Taste of Home cookbook from the 70's. It was called Spiced Tea Mix. We added our bourbon to it and were pleasantly surprised at how nice it came together. It makes a great pack-n-go cocktail in a thermos.

Hot Toddy Mix

20 oz. container of orange breakfast drink mix (we used Tang)

3/4 cup instant lemon iced tea mix

2/3 cup lemonade mix

2 tsp. ground cinnamon

1 tsp. ground cloves

Store in an air-tight container until ready to use.

Instant Hot Toddy

Combine in mug:

1 tbsp. Hot Toddy Mix

1 oz. Liberty Pole Spirits Bourbon (some folks think our Rye Whiskey is better in this, so you might have to decide for yourself - also adjust the amount to taste.)

5 oz. boiling water

Stir and enjoy! We garnished ours with a lemon slice and a cinnamon stick.
